ITV Dancing on Ice's Claire Sweeney declares love for co-star

Dancing On Ice star Claire Sweeney has expressed love for her co-star following her departure from the show.
The 52 year old former Brookside actress was among many celebs who joined this year's tough skating contest. Every week, famous faces take on live performances on the icy stage guided by Olympic figure skating champions, observed by judges and millions of spectators. Ricky Hatton MBE was the first to be eliminated, followed by Hannah Spearritt from S Club.
Sadly for Claire, she was ousted after performing a dance to Shirley Bassey's Big Spender. Both she and partner Colin Grafton along with comedian Lou Sanders and her dance partner Brendyn Hatfield were in the skate-off, before the judges decided to save Lou. On Tuesday, Claire went over to Instagram to contemplate her journey and thank her fans for voting for her.

how far we've all come, it's been so brilliant." Coronation Street star Claire spoke fondly of her partner Colin, saying: "He was a joy to skate with." She also thanked everyone involved in the show and mentioned how much she'll miss them. However, she's excited for a cosy Sunday night in with her son Jaxon. In her post, she expressed gratitude to everyone at Dancing on Ice, especially her agent Melanie Blake and Laurence TV.
