Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has confirmed that Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams is in contention for Saturday's clash with West Bromwich Albion.
Williams, who joined the Tractor Boys on loan for the duration of the season in August, missed the 3-2 win over Swansea City prior to the international break through illness. He was a notable absentee from the matchday squad as the Championship promotion hopefuls extended their unbeaten run in the league to 12 matches.
But as they prepare to resume their promotion charge at the Hawthorns on Saturday evening, Williams is poised to be included in McKenna's plans for the trip to the Midlands.

"Brandon's trained well for the last two weeks," said McKenna, addressing the media on Thursday. "So again gives us good depth and another really good option for Saturday and for the games coming up."
Since making the switch to Portman Road, Williams, who had previously spent time on loan at Ipswich's arch rivals, Norwich City, has racked up 12 appearances for the club in all competitions, chipping in with two goals. He scored in the Tractor Boys' 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town on September 30 and in their 4-2 win over Preston North End the following weekend.
Deployed mainly as a right-back so far, Williams has benefitted from earning regular game time again after making just one appearance for United last season. Out injured at the start of the campaign, his only outing came in the Reds' 2-0 win over Burnley in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup in December.
