As Roxy Horner counts down the final few days until the arrival of her first child with comedian Jack Whitehall, the glamorous star, 32 was treated to a baby shower by her nearest and dearest. The model, who is expecting a baby girl, was joined by her friends and family for a “last minute” celebration on Friday, complete with balloons, buffet and of course plenty of baby themed gifts! Sharing a selection of photos from the event on social media, Roxy showed off her blossoming baby bump in a figure hugging brown dress - and even managed to make a pregnancy support belt look stylish as she opted for comfort as well as fashion.
Roxy has resorted to wearing the belt in recent days alongside needing crutches to aid her ability to walk after she was diagnosed with symphysis pubis dysfunction as a side effect of her pregnancy. The painful condition, is caused by the hormones released during pregnancy that are designed to loosen the ligaments in the pelvis to help give birth, but sometimes, as a result, it can produce debilitating pain when the joints become unbalanced.
Despite suffering from the painful condition however, Roxy appeared to be in high spirits as the party got underway, as she even pointed out her swanky new addition to her outfit a pair of sparkly black crutches. “If you have to wear crutches might as well have sparkly ones,” she wrote alongside a photo from the party.
Joined by her mother Lisa Rae and her sister Riana for the special baby shower, a group of her closest friends were also in attendance as they counted down the final few days until Roxy’s due date. Posing alongside them both on the couch, Roxy thanked both her mum and sister for their support over the past few months as she shared a photo of them
