Silent Witness actor Rhiannon May stars as Cara Connelly in the new series of the BBC crime drama.The series, which was first aired in 1996, follows a group of forensic scientists as they investigate ghastly crimes in a bid to catch those responsible. Rhiannon's character, Cara, is Jack Hodgson's niece. She first popped up in 2021, in the episodes titled Bad Love and Brother's Keeper.

Call the Midwife fans will recognise actress Annabelle Apsion as the lovable shop owner, Violet Buckle, but she's also appeared in a string of other TV shows.
