Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane criticised striker Rasmus Hojlund after he was guilty of squandering opportunities in the first half of Monday night's FA Cup tie with Wigan Athletic.
United went into the half-time interval at the DW Stadium with a one-goal lead, secured thanks to a sweet strike from Diogo Dalot after 22 minutes. The Reds, however, should have sealed their place in the fourth round of the competition by the break, wasting a plethora of chances.
Scott McTominay, Marcus Rashford and Hojlund all went close to adding to United's tally, either being denied by Sam Tickle in the Wigan goal or putting the ball wide of the target. Hojlund, who has scored six times so far this season, wasted the best chance, somehow putting the ball wide after Tickle parried a fierce Rashford effort into his path.

"You're too kind," Keane told ITV Sport, responding to Wright's sympathy for the forward. "I would be fuming with him.
"We wanted United to show a part of their game tonight and they have in terms of missing chances and not being clinical - I want to see that side of United tonight. When your striker is missing chances, we can say unlucky all day, they are great opportunities.
