'I'll show you what a real man looks like...' thug told stranger before knocking her out

A thug who knocked a woman out after kicking her dog in the face also launched a vile volley of homophobic abuse. Aaron Boyle, 31, told the woman 'I'll show you what a real man looks like' after calling her a 'wannabe man dy**'.
He punched her to the head during a 'disgraceful' attack in Salford. The pair, who were complete strangers, were out walking their dogs and came together after their pets took an 'interest' in each other.
"This was a disgraceful piece of behaviour, an act of violence towards a woman who was just out walking her dog," Boyle was told by Judge John Potter. "It was made very much worse by you deciding to indulge yourself in insulting homophobic abuse towards your victim."

Boyle, who spent three months in prison on remand after the attack, was spared further jail time. Manchester Crown Court heard that the pair were both walking their dogs on Brookhouse Avenue in Eccles at about 5pm on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
They were initially walking on the opposite sides of the street but came together after their dogs showed an ‘interest’ in each other, prosecutor John Kennerley said.
But the dogs came into ‘conflict’ and Boyle kicked her dog in the face. An argument broke out and the victim walked away, before taking a photo of Boyle on her phone.
Boyle became ‘irate’ and began using homophobic language towards her, calling her a ‘dy**’. A car pulled up to check if she was okay, as she asked Boyle ‘why did you kick my dog?’
Boyle replied by calling her a ‘wannabe man dy**’ and told her: “I’ll show you what a real man looks like.” Boyle then punched her to the head.
