A motorist was rushed to hospital after his car burst into flames during a smash in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Barrhead Road at around 7pm on Saturday following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze while police locked down the surrounding area. A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
He has since been arrested in connection with road traffic offences, Glasgow Live reports.
No one else is believed to have been injured during the crash but police enquiries remain ongoing.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 7pm on Saturday, 23 March, 2024 we were made aware of a two vehicle crash on Barrhead Road, Glasgow which resulted in a fire in one of the vehicles.
"Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished. One of the drivers, a 19-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment.
"The same man was arrested in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries are ongoing."
