A woman has revealed the one inspiration photo that you should never show during a salon appointment.
Many people tend to bring an inspiration photo along to their hair salon appointment in order to help their stylist figure out what they want done that day. Images of celebrities, influencers and other famous people tend to be common choices to show your hairdresser what you want done to your hair.
Whether its a quick trim or a complete switch-up, it does help to show what you'd like to look like by the end of the appointment, reports the Mirror. One hair expert has revealed that while they do love to see what ideas you have, there is one particular thing that makes every stylist sigh inwardly.
One Reddit user shared on the platform: "My mum owned a day spa for 15 years and I worked the front desk, so I saw a lot of mostly women, bring in celebrity red carpet photos that my mum would try to explain they need a lot of maintenance and styling daily to maintain that specific look.
"I would hear over and over again 'I can do that but it's styled to look that way so the second it falls out or you wear a bun that look goes away' they would always say 'yes, I know I want it anyways'. So many Reese Witherspoon and Olsen twins photos. This is really not that bad, but its gets better."
The Reddit poster also saw "two meltdowns" that she saw in her parents' clients when it came to styling and dying their hair. The post continued: "The two meltdowns I saw were one lady who demanded my mum work late to refoil, literally, one foil. Like one tiny section of hair this woman wanted refoiled, plus she threw a fuss demanding free styling to make up for the one obsessive spot to foil that looked perfectly fine.
