Police have released a CCTV picture after a man with a suspected gun burst into a Post Office in Salford and stole thousands of pounds in cash.
The terrifying robbery happened at the Post Office in the Ellesmere Shopping Centre in Walkden at around 2.50pm on August 17 last year. Detectives believe a man 'brandishing a suspected firearm' burst into the shop, before he demanded 'traumatised' staff put money from the till into a carrier bag.
He stole around £6,700 in cash and around £2,000 worth of foreign currency. No serious injuries were reported at the time, police said.
