In the last few years, the gaming community has seen great growth - and with it, online forums, discord servers and websites have gotten more popular too.
After all, seeing other players in action and learning new strategies is all part of the fun.
That's why Gathering Games - a haven for table-top, trading card and board games - has launched its own YouTube channel. Players can now go behind the scenes and get all of the latest news in the gaming world, as well as recommendations and tutorials.
The channel's videos and shorts on trending collections such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Fire Kings, Yu-Gi-Oh! Phantom Nightmare and Pokémon TCG have already racked up thousands of views, and the community is only growing.
But that's not all, the brand is active on the likes of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook too.
Fans can even spend hours catching up with the Gathering Games community on Discord, watching live demos and chatting with like-minded players.
The business' website and Yorkshire-based stores also stock other popular brands aside from Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon, such as Dragon Ball, Warhammer, Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, Flesh and Blood, One Piece, Digimon, Disney Locarna, and Magic The Gathering.
After graduating from university and going on to train as a mental health doctor, Gathering Games founder Faiz Masood decided to try something different and pursue his love of gaming. He first opened his incredible business two years ago with the help of his brother Sahd, and hasn't looked back since.
As well as having a shop in Skipton, the duo decided to open a tavern in Keighley, where gaming enthusiasts can attend evening sessions and get competitive, as well as take part in engaging activities like miniature painting and more.
