Variety has learned that Patton Oswalt, Debra Wilson, Phil LaMarr, and Wayne Knight have all been cast in the series, which is currently in the works at CBS Studios. No network or streaming service is currently attached.

Naman Ramachandran Toonz Media Group and Be That Spark Corp, a joint venture between BLKBX Originals and Zuroam Media, have signed a co-production and co-distribution agreement for upcoming 3D animated series “Little Sparks.” “Little Sparks” is based on the children’s book series “A Little Spark” by Chris Parsons, recipient of the Mom’s Choice Award Gold Medal for family-friendly media. The books will be adapted into a CGI animated series aimed at the four to eight age group.

Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey), Liv Hewson (Yellowjackets) and Kimiko Glenn(Orange Is The New Black) have joined the cast of Among Us, an animated series based on the highly popular game, from CBS Studios, Innersloth, and creator Owen Dennis (Infinity Game). They join previously announced Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, Yvette Nicole Brown and Elijah Wood. CBS Studios‘ animation arm Eye Animation Productions is currently developing the project in partnership with Innersloth, the independent studio behind the game.

With a $45.5 million haul at the box office this weekend, “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” is the number one film in the country, and the Ghostbusters are back. AC/DC’s Brian Johnson and Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfler are set to star in a new documentary series, named Johnson and Knopfler’s Music Legends. The six-part series will see the two classic rockers explore the lives of six other music legends, with the show set to run weekly on Sky Arts from April 25. Each episode will see Johnson and Knopfler examine the careers of, respectively, Tom Jones, Sam Fender, Cyndi Lauper, Nile Rodgers, Carlos Santana and Emmylou Harris, with the hosts also playing live with the guests on the episodes.

Randall Park (“Always Be My Maybe,” “Fresh Off the Boat”), Yvette Nicole Brown (“Community,” “The Odd Couple”, Elijah Wood (“The Lords of the Rings” trilogy, “Wilford”), and Ashley Johnson (“The Last of Us,” “Blindspot”) will all lend their voices to the animated adaptation of the popular mobile game. Variety exclusively reported the series was in development back in June 2023.
