While the late Queen always traditionally held the spring celebration in Windsor, King Charles and Queen Camilla have often opted to spend the time privately at their Birkhall home near the Balmoral Estate in Scotland. Birkhall was built in 1715 and was originally owned by the Farquharson family, before being acquired by the Gordon family.
