Chelsea, meanwhile, have experienced an even worse start to the campaign. They have won just one of their opening six league games, amassing just five points from a possible 18.
It means head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who was appointed back in May, is already under mounting pressure ahead of Monday night's west London derby against Fulham at Craven Cottage. They are currently just two points above the drop zone.
However, despite Erik ten Hag and Pochettino being responsible for matters on the field, Neville, taking to social media over the weekend, refused to blame either of them for United's and Chelsea's current struggles.
