Take That's Gary Barlow has turned property guru, with stylish homes dotted around the globe. Earlier this year, the 52 year old Back for Good singer launched a new venture, GE and GB Property Ltd, alongside specialist Geoff Egan.
A source close to the star – who had his first hit with Take That 32 years ago in 1991 – revealed: "He has opened a company and the plan is to buy houses and then sell them on for a profit." Gary is no stranger to 'flipping' – the process of buying a property then selling it on at a higher price. In 2011, he sold his six-bedroom Delamere Manor in Cheshire, set within 100 acres of countryside, for a staggering £7.5million.
The luxurious property was bought by local businesswoman Michelle Stubbs and has since been transformed into a high-end wedding and private hire venue.
After the sale, Gary and his family moved to America, purchasing a $5.08million beach house in Santa Monica, California.
The tranquil pine tree-lined property boasts five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and a large outdoor pool.
The stunning property also includes a massive open-plan kitchen, adorned with chic marble worktops, and an outdoor built-in barbecue on the lawn, perfect for summer parties. Gary and his wife Dawn snapped up this 4,150 square feet home in April 2018.
Back in Blighty, Gary, Dawn and their three kids have a swanky west London pad as their base. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Gary gave fans a sneak peek into his British home as he held virtual duets with celebs like former Take That mate Robbie Williams and funnyman Jason Manford.
