Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff is 'healing' according to his Top Gear co-star after he was recently seen months after he was involved in a crash while filming the BBC show which left him with facial injuries and broken ribs
The former England cricket captain, 45, appeared with facial injuries in public for the first time in September, nine months after he was taken to hospital after he was hurt while filming the motoring show at its test track at Dunsfold Aerodrome last December (2022).
Freddie was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash which meant his face was in direct contact with the ground causing it to scrape across the coarse area. He is said to have had to wait 45 minutes before being airlifted to hospital following the crash. And even more worrying, on the back of an investigation, a report found that the car had no airbag.

Now, Chris Harris, who hosted Top Gear with Freddie and Paddy McGuinness, has offered an update during an appearance on BBC Breakfast on Thursday (November 9). He said: "I think he's healing. It was a serious incident. I'm not going say any more than that."
He went on: "As I've said in the book and in the few interviews I've given, I'm so proud of the fact that team Top Gear kept everything quiet and we were dignified. There is nothing out there about
