Erik ten Hag has named an unchanged Manchester United team for Southampton because he wanted to show trust in the players that started against Liverpool.
Although new signing Casemiro enjoyed a full week of training after completing his move from Real Madrid to Old Trafford, Ten Hag named an unchanged side to face Southampton and that means Scott McTominay has been selected to start over the Brazilian.
Jadon Sancho, Anthony Elanga and Marcus Rashford start in attack and that's the front three which looked dangerous on the counter-attack against Liverpool. Sancho and Rashford scored in that game and they'll be hoping to get on the scoresheet again.

Ten Hag spoke to MUTV ahead of kick-off and he explained why he named an unchanged team, with Casemiro on the bench.
"We have a really good squad, there is huge internal competition," Ten Hag said. "It's always a consideration. We made a really good performance [against Liverpool], but also I want to credit the contribution of the substitutes that came on.
"We didn't do it with 11 players, we did it with more, but I want to give the trust to those 11 who did it from the start. They had a good performance. We have a lot of games and a lot of players will come on, we have a good level of players and good competition.
"We are really happy [Casemiro], it was really one of our priorities we constructed the squad, that we wanted to add a player in his position. Now we have him and we have to integrate him into the team."
