Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: "I'm really impressed. He's [Ten Hag's] come in and the first thing that he showed is that he can get a group of players together. He has the discipline. He's making people aware of their roles and responsibilities. He keeps on talking about, especially after this game, he spoke about standards every day. I think that was a big thing. It's about the culture.
"I think when you look at the team beforehand, did they have the character did they have the personality, did they have the grit? No, because far too many times they folded under pressure. I believe the way that Arsenal pressured us and controlled parts of the game, in previous times we would have folded and lost that game, or minimum drawn it.
