Emmerdale's Amy Walsh admits she's 'barely seen' husband Toby-Alexander Smith since wedding last year

Emmerdale star Amy Walsh confessed on Lorraine that since tying the knot with her actor husband, Toby-Alexander Smith, she’s “barely seen him”. While chatting to Christine Lampard who was standing in for Lorraine Kelly, Amy revealed that she finds it “hard” to spend time with her family thanks to her busy schedule. “We do still feel like newlyweds,” Amy confessed.
“We've not even been together that long in the grand scheme of things. So our relationship is still quite new and fresh, but then you throw a toddler in the mix and then work commitments, and it's crazy, but we're trying to get some time for each other. It’s hard.” Amy and EastEnders star Toby got married last year in Montenegro along with their daughter, Bonnie, and 100 guests.
Amy told Christine: “That was a really quiet stint, I booked the holiday, obviously I booked the time off, and then I went full throttle into a massive storyline at Emmerdale. “And it was full on, I barely saw either of them and that was hard, then he flew to Bulgaria about three days later and did a film out there. It’s been constantly like that, and it is a struggle.
I don’t have family around me to help, so it’s tricky.” Amy returned to Emmerdale shortly after. She plays Tracy Metcalfe on the ITV soap, who upon her return, got married to Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) - and after that embarked on an affair with Caleb Miligan (William Ash). But after a decade on the show, Amy admits she loves the drama Tracy brings.
