BBC EastEnders star lands huge Hollywood role alongside A-list legend

Since Toby-Alexander Smith bid farewell to his role as the menacing Gray Atkins on EastEnders two years ago, he's kept a relatively low profile. However, it turns out that Toby-Alexander, 33, has been quietly making some serious moves in showbiz circles.
The actor, who is hitched to Emmerdale star Amy Walsh, has snagged a part in the Hollywood flick 'Murder Between Friends', where he'll share the screen with none other than the legendary Joan Collins. Toby-Alexander shared a snapshot on Instagram featuring himself alongside the iconic actress, famed for her role in the 80s hit show Dynasty.
Joan Collins, still dazzling at 90, took to her social media to announce: "This was the #secret I posted about several weeks ago! Shooting #murderbetweenfriends with this fabulous #castandcrew." While the movie is still in the works and Toby-Alexander's role is still hush-hush, back in Walford, his character Gray is locked away for life after being convicted of multiple murders. Post-EastEnders, Toby-Alexander turned his talents to music, crooning jazz and swing tunes, and performing at private gigs.
Off-screen, he enjoys marital bliss with Amy, sister to Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh, and the couple are proud parents to their little girl, Bonnie-Mae, reports the Mirror. Posting unseen pictures of the couple's wedding last year in Montenegro, EastEnders pal Lorraine Stanley gave fans an insight into the antics on the dance floor.
Lorraine captioned the pictures saying: "Best wedding ever! hank you for having us, we will tell our grandkids about this one #battered #wedding."
