EasyJet has announced new twice weekly Christmas flights to Lapland from Manchester Airport. The winter route will see flights to Kittila in Finnish Lapland - a new destination for the airline.
And the news will put smiles on the faces of adults and children alike, as more families will have the opportunity to pay a magical festive visit to see Father Christmas and his reindeers.
The first flights will take off on November 16 and operate from Manchester twice a week throughout the winter season, announced easyJet on Friday.

Kittila is located almost 100 miles north of Roveniemi in the northern arctic circle and the flights will also appeal to winter sports lovers, stargazers looking for a glimpse of the Northern Lights and those who wish to explore the snowy alpine forests in the region.
The flights, on Thursdays and Sundays, go on sale today - Friday - at easyJet.com.
EasyJet said that having added a new route connecting Manchester to Rovaniemi in the heartland of Lapland last year, the addition of Kittlia provides even more choice for those considering booking a magical Christmas break.
