EastEnders spoilers see Vinnie's revenge put Eve's life in critical danger

EastEnders viewers were left "disappointed" on Wednesday's episode as fan favourite, Finlay Baker, played by Ashley Byam, left Walford. And in a further twist, it was revealed that Finlay wasn't the intended victim and it was in fact Eve Unwin, who has been having an affair with Suki Panesar, as she was supposed to drive the vehicle.

EastEnders is set for chilling scenes next week as Chelsea Fox is left distracted as she receives a letter from ex-husband and serial killer Gray Atkins. Soap watchers will recall that Gray was finally arrested last year after it was revealed that he had murdered ex-wife Chantelle Baker, Kush Kazemi and Tina Carter. Following his dramatic arrest, it was later divulged to soap watchers that Gray had pleaded guilty off-screen and had a very lengthy prison stint ahead.

Just days after his car was sabotaged in an attempt to kill Eve Unwin, Finlay Baker may have unwittingly sealed his fate as he came dangerously close to uncovering the real truth about why the motor had been sabotaged. As regular EastEnders viewers will know, Vinny tampered with the brakes on the car last week, after he knew Eve would be borrowing the motor for a trip to Brighton, and wanted her out of the picture permanently, after he discovered she and his mum Suki Panesar had been engaging in an affair.

EastEnders' Peter Beale has made a triumphant return to Albert Square much to the delight of fans.The character has been played by seven different actors over the years with the familiar face of Thomas Law stepping back into his shoes.The character of Peter Beale first arrived on the BBC soap in 1993 alongside his twin sister, Lucy Beale. He is the eldest son of the longest-serving character, Ian Beale and the notable Cindy Beale. Since the 90s a medley of actors have played the role of Peter who has been caught up in a number of huge storylines including his twin's Who Killed Lucy saga in 2014.

Yet when police officer Callum checked the police database, he soon stumbled upon a large red flag, when it was revealed the file for Rose Knight was restricted.To make matters worse, Callum was later chastised by his superiors for looking into the situation, and was warned not to pursue the matter and to "forget he had ever heard" the name Rose Knight.
