EastEnders ' Finlay Baker is set for a disturbing week as he believes someone has been trying to murder him, and is about to find out who his mystery enemy is. Market stall holder Finlay (Ashley Byam) has had a relatively quiet time in Walford so far, but trouble is not far around the corner for any of the cast and now it's his turn to face a stressful time.
He is the brother of Felix and nephew of Mitch, and has been living in Albert Square ever since his dad's death. But when Keanu (Danny Walters) discovers that someone has damaged Finlay's car, he becomes paranoid that someone is trying to hurt him, wondering who - and why.
So when Finlay finds Vinny Panesar's (Shiv Jalota) necklace under his car after a closer inspection, he starts to wonder what he could have done to rile the dangerous character. What Finlay doesn't know is that Vinny actually has no strong feelings against him at all - he simply targeted the car because he knows that Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) is planning on driving it to Brighton and he wants to hurt her after finding out about his mum Suki's (Balvinder Sopal) secret affair with her.
Vinny recently discovered Suki and Eve's relationship and that the pair were planning on fleing Albert Square together, but made threats towards them to try to stop the plan in its tracks. When Eve told him to do his worst, Vinny decided to take her up on the challenge and cut the brakes on the car believing that it would cause her to crash.
