EastEnders fans are set for a week of shocks and surprises as the truth about the Knight family is exposed. In a jaw-dropping set of episodes, Wednesday and Thursday's shows will air simultaneously on BBC One and BBC iPlayer so that all viewers can discover the secrets the new characters have been hiding at the same time - suggesting that there are some massive spoilers on the horizon.

A teaser for the episodes which will air on Wednesday and Thursday 21 and 22 June reads: "Let’s make it a Knight to remember… "The truth about George Knight’s family is set to be revealed.To find out what really happened all those years ago, Wednesday and Thursday’s episode of EastEnders will air on BBC One and iPlayer simultaneously at 1930 so that audiences can watch the truth unfold together." George Knight, played by Bond star Colin Salmon, is a boxer nicknamed The Nightmare who arrived on the Square already well known by many of the other residents. But it soon became clear that he was hiding multiple secrets which Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been keen to get to the bottom of.
