Eastenders fans were left divided after the latest episode of the BBC soap saw villain Ravi Gulati arrested for attempted murder at the end of a nail biting episode. Wednesday night's edition of the soap picked up where Tuesdays left off, with Keanu Taylor left fighting for his life after being beaten and left for dead by Ravi Gulati.The dodgy restaurant owner has been involved in supplying and dealing drugs in recent weeks, with Keanu hired by Ravi to transport the product from A to B.
Yet in a surprising twist on Monday, on the day of Baby Albie’s Christening, Keanu was arrested by police and taken down to the station. While in police custody Keanu was offered immunity in exchange for revealing the details of his supplier, and after being released by the police, Ravi was quick to presume that his accomplice had blabbed, prompting the businessman to take matters into his own hands and beat Keanu for being a grass.
Left bleeding and unconscious in the street, Keanu was later discovered by Phil Mitchell who promptly phoned an ambulance and transported him to hospital, where medics fought to stabilise his condition after revealing he had a collapsed lung among several other injuries. Keanu’s girlfriend Sharon Watts soon discovered who exactly had attacked Keanu and confronted Ravi in the street, but was brushed off by the criminal as he warned her to keep her mouth shut.
Yet as news of the attack spread across the square, it wasn’t just Sharon who began to get suspicious and pick up on the clues, with Ravi’s dad Nish Panesar also soon discovering what his son had gotten involved in.
