Will Mellor has shared why 'everything changes' when he walks on to set as he reprises his role as Harvey Gaskel in Coronation Street. It's been a while since viewers of the ITV soap have seen the killer and drug boss on-screen due to fact he's behind bars.
Harvey was last heard of in December, 2022, as he was given a brutal beating in prison on half-brother Damon Hay's orders. He was moved to another facility for his safety. It came after Harvey gave Nick money to buy the Bistro after Debbie Webster decided she wanted to sell up.
But for the first time in upcoming scenes, Corrie fans will see Harvey and Damon come face to face with their relationship being described as 'intense'.

New pictures released by Corrie have now shown Ciaran and Will filming together from the prison where Harvey is currently residing but it's not just Damon who will be seeking to speak to Harvey. It has been revealed that after being involved in his kidnap, Adam will seek revenge on Damon and heads to the prison to seek a deal with Harvey -to help him get rid of Damon once and for all.
Speaking about being back on Corrie, Will said: "Firstly, I'm glad to be back because I really enjoy playing this character. It's something that straight away when they asked me to play this part, I knew what I wanted to do with it. I wanted to play him very real, a proper baddie, I thought if I'm ever going to be in Coronation Street I’m glad I’m playing a baddie because it's a part I don't get to play a lot.
