Coronation Street star Stephen Reid's exit appears to have been 'confirmed' as actor Todd Boyce has landed a new role as part of a pantomime production.
It comes as Stephen's brutal killings on the cobbles appear to have caught up with him as Craig Tinker actor Colson Smith was spotted filming scenes at a canal when a roof box, concealing Stephen's second victim Teddy, is found on the water.
Teddy was murdered by cold-blood killer Stephen after he realised his son Leo wasn't in Canada and something else dark had happened to him. Horrified that he could be exposed, Stephen killed Teddy with a hole-punch.
Audrey Robert's son Stephen returned to Weatherfield just over a year ago, when he made his on-screen debut and he has been leaving chaos in his wake ever since with the broke businessman bumping off those standing in his way.
The actor has now reportedly joined the cast of Mother Goose in a pantomime production at Derby Arena where he will be portraying the role of Demon Vanity.
According to Derby City Council, Mother Goose is an action-packed adventure guaranteed to have everyone laughing.
Mother Goose has everything anyone could possibly wish for in a loving family, except her true wish to be beautiful. When she makes a deal with Demon Vanity a little foul play means she gets a lot more than she bargained for.
Todd, who plays Stephen, previously insisted he didn't know how he'd exit the show, but hopes it's in a "blaze of glory". He told the Mirror: "I don’t see anyone else on the horizon in terms of who could be killed, we’re not that far ahead so they could surprise me at any time. I was trying to get the grandstands on telly, I want to be the one who's killed the most.
"But in a sense, I think he’s an accidental killer.
