Coronation Street star Todd Boyce has issued a 'thank you' message to fans as he was seen enjoying an evening out with his co-stars amid his soap 'exit'. The actor has had viewers talking ever since he returned to the cobbles last year, reprising the role of Stephen Reid.
He returned to the role in the ITV soap 15 years after he was last seen on the famous street, and 26 years after making his debut in the role of Audrey Roberts' son. When he made his sudden return in 2022, Stephen had appeared to arrive in the nick of time as Audrey found herself in trouble, having got stuck underneath a model scooter in the barbers after her drinking got a bit out of hand - despite her family's attempts at an intervention.
But it soon became clear that his return to the cobbles was just an innocent trip to reconnect with the Platts as it seemed that with his finances in a dire state, he planned to fleece his own mother. His plotting and scheming hasn't stopped since and he's turned to bumping off those standing in his way.
