Coronation Street's Stephanie Davis compared to late British icon in move away from soap

Former Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis has been compared to a late British icon as she shared an update on her career since leaving the cobbles The actress recently played Courtney Vance in the ITV soap.
She was brought into the long-running soap on a short-term basis as part of a dramatic affair storyline with Aadi Alahan. The pair developed a connection and even moved in together, but the plot ended when Courtney chose to get back with husband Darren.
But last month, Stephanie said she 'couldn't wait' to share her music with her fans after spending time in America recording. Alongside a behind-the-scenes clip of her in the studio, she said: "I cannot wait to share my music with you guys! What a time in America it was! This is a bit of footage from my trip to Memphis recording my Album out there with the greatest musicians and producer.

"Music was my first love & I’ve done a 360 back around to it, which is quite fitting for my album and my story. So many crazy things happened while I was there which I’ll defo share with you guys at some point! It was like I was guided there and everything that happened was constant pointers that I’m on the right path in life to where I need to be. My higher power was truly with me the whole way!"
She continued: "My life today is all about giving back and helping others, and my hope is that my music & songs helps someone and gives them hope in their life or even identification to know they are not alone! What a time to be alive, so grateful and blessed for this crazy thing called life. God sometimes tests us
