Celebrity Big Brother's Bradley Riches has shared the heartbreaking news that his grandad passed away while he was on the show.
The Heartstopper actor, who was unfortunately evicted just one day before Friday's big final, found out about his family loss after leaving the famous house. Bradley, who is 22, revealed this sad news to his 430K followers on Instagram over the weekend and wrote a touching tribute to his granddad after appearing on the show - which David Potts won.
"I just heard the sad news of my Grandad passing while in the BB house. He was strong, kind and funny.
I love you so much x," he posted to the platform. Bradley managed to stay in the ITV show for 17 days, and viewers were upset about the way his eviction was handled.
In a shocking twist during the second last episode, where housemates were granted a moment with a loved one, Bradley didn't get his visit like the other contestants. Instead, to his surprise, show host AJ Odudu was waiting for him.
She asked: "Surprised to see me? As you can see, neither a friend or family member is here for you.
That is because the public have been voting. I can now reveal that the seventh housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house is you." In response to the surprise announcement, Bradley said: "I've had so much fun, I feel fine, I didn't think I was gonna make it this so far, and I love everyone in there and I'm so proud of everyone, and I'm very thankful, very grateful and very happy."
