Celebrity Big Brother's Louis Walsh was granted immunity from the next eviction in a twist delivered by Monday night's programme. As the housemates danced around in an eruption of emerald for St.
Patrick's Day, Fern Britton visited the Diary Room where she was handed the unenviable task of choosing someone to leave the house - placing a plastic red snake on their bed as a mythic symbol. In a neat twist, though, Louis was later called to the Diary Room where the situation was laid out before him.
Thanks to the luck of the Irish, the pop music manager was gifted a shamrock-shaped pillow and told he was free from Tuesday's vote-off. Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to voice their opinions over the major twist.
One wrote: "I've never seen a bigger fix than this twist specifically to get Louis Walsh to the final.

Another wrote: "My heart dropped when Fern said Louis but then I realised that Big Brother has likely rigged it so Louis will get sent to the final as pretty much everyone in there would have sent him home and they want their moneys worth." Following a round of votes, it was Fern, Zeze Millz and Marisha Wallace, as well as Sunday's killer nomination volunteer Nikita Kuzmin, that were confirmed to be on the chopping block, with two of them leaving the house on Tuesday. Marisha, 38, received four nominations from David Potts, Fern, Colson Smith and Bradley Riches, while Fern received the same number from David, Colson,
