Cadbury making major change to much-loved chocolate bars to mark milestone

Cadbury is making a huge change to its chocolate bars, though you’ll have to be quick if you want to be in with a chance of enjoying them.
To mark its 200th anniversary, from today the iconic brand is bringing back seven of its most memorable Dairy Milk packaging designs, with the chosen designs spanning from 1915 to the present day.
The 180g bars of chocolate will be available to purchase from all major supermarkets for £2, though prices may vary depending on the store you visit. With the special bars only being available until stocks last, you’ll have to be quick if you want to grab your hands on the sweet treats.
Speaking of the milestone moment, Bryony Tate, brand manager at Mondelēz International, which owns Cadbury, explained: “We’re really looking forward to celebrating 200 years of Cadbury belonging to our nation this year.” She continued: “We hope that the launch of our limited edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Bar packaging will bring a smile to people’s faces, with the seven retro designs offering something for everyone.” If that wasn’t enough, in addition to bringing back some pretty iconic designs, Cadbury has also added some special artwork inside the packs which showcase some key moments from the brand’s 200-year history. Elsewhere, The Sun reports that Cadbury has teamed up with Alzheimer’s Research UK and looks set to donate £200,000 to the organisation in 2024.
The news comes after Cadbury lovers were left “devastated” after learning that their "favourite" hot chocolate drink had been discontinued.
