Britain’s Got Talent has a well established and enduring tradition of including four legged competitors in the annual talent show. In fact, back in 2012, Ashleigh Jade Butler and her dog Pudsey even won the sixth series of the show with their unique and highly skilled display of agility and dance moves.

One viewer took to Twitter to argue: "Are the judges kidding? The dog just hammered random keys." But other fans flocked to make the same point, as one said: "She said the dog would play the piano didn’t say she played well #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.” A second viewer also agreed
