A Traitors' cast member has opened up on 'rough' backlash and negativity she received following the final, saying it prompted her to quit social media.
Mollie Pearce, 21, was one of three remaining contestants at the conclusion of the murder mystery reality show, which aired on Friday night. The game was left in her hands after fellow faithful Jaz Singh voted to banish one more player from the castle. The disability model had initially chosen to banish friend Harry Clark in the final roundtable - but wiped his name and replaced it with Jaz at the last second, ultimately crowning Traitor Harry in the process.
Fans were quick to comment on social media, pleading "justice for Jaz" after he lost out on the cash over the unfortunate mishap. Speaking to The Mirror, Mollie opened up on how she had received negativity following the dramatic finale.

"I'm obviously new to all of that so I'm trying to process it and get my head around it and I'm kind of trying to stay off socials a little bit because I think today is going to be a bit rough," she explained.
"But yeah, I'm hoping that it will pass. I think it's very easy for the public to say that I was stupid and stuff like that but at the end of the day I'm 21 and I've got emotions - what could I do? I think people forget that you're human when they're watching it on TV, but we do all have feelings so people should be more cautious with their comments."
After Harry's shock Traitor reveal, viewers watched as she walked off and was clearly devastated. Opening up about who reached out to who to rekindle their friendship, she explained: "It was a mutual thing - we spoke after. We had quite a big laugh, to be honest.
