The Traitors fans were on the very edge of their seats during the first episode of the week, when yet another contestant was eliminated just two days before the grand final. With the finish line now just two sleeps away, sadly Ross fell at the final hurdle after they were brutally turned upon during a very tense and hostile roundtable session.
Initially the episode had started on a high for The Traitors themselves, after Harry decided to play a blinder in which he and Andrew recruited Ross into their fold and pretended to have been protected by a shield, rather than murdered. Using this tactic, he believed he had evaded suspicion, but in a cunning ploy, Ross actually turned this information against him as he began to sow the seeds of discord among the Faithfuls, by suggesting that Harry was a Traitor and had simply exploited the shield to misdirect them.
Although he didn’t elaborate too deeply on the subject, the small hint of doubt was enough to soon cement itself in the minds of the Faithfuls, who then slowly began to suspect Harry may not have been as squeaky clean as he had initially portrayed. It was this doubt that soon began to rear it’s head during the roundtable, however, even despite this added suspicion— it was ultimately Ross who was sadly eliminated after his attempts to lead the Faithfuls astray backfired spectacularly.
Speaking just before they left the competition for the final time, Ross said: “Well guys, there is not a lot of us now, it’s a bit mad. We’ve all got far in this game and each and every one of you I had a very real connection with." He then went on to make a huge reveal as he added: "I’ll just leave you with one little Easter egg before I go.
