Angela Rippon has faced a rocky road to the iconic Blackpool week at Strictly Come Dancing.
It’s a well known fact that most celebrity participants are desperate to make it to the famous ballroom - but it seems it could represent the star’s final turn on the BBC dance show, if the latest bookies’ odds are to be believed.
After facing the dance-off twice in the past two weeks, bookmakers think if she lands in the bottom two again this weekend, Angela, 79, could be booted out for good.
Her odds of leaving Strictly have now been slashed to 2/5, while Annabel Croft is just behind her at 5/2.
Alex Apati, from Ladbrokes, said: "It looks as though Angela Rippon is finally out of lives; having been in the bottom two in back-to-back weeks, the odds suggest her Strictly days are numbered."

He added: "I think it would be great for the show if she did make the final, but I don't think she'll get there.”
“The Paso [Doble] she performed was a bit stiff. Previously I thought she could make it all the way, but it's unlikely with the calibre of talent still in the competition."
Angela and her partner Kai Widdrington found themselves in the bottom two against Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk, with fans
