BBC Antiques Roadshow viewers were left gobsmacked when a couple 'stormed off' after hearing the valuation of their beloved item, as told by host Fiona Bruce.
The much-loved BBC Sunday night show has been a favourite since it first aired in 1979, with fans eagerly waiting each week to see the surprising valuations of various items brought in by guests.
Over the years, there have been many unforgettable moments, from experts nearly dropping vases to accidentally 'drinking' urine.
Fiona, 59, who has been hosting the show since 2008, has certainly witnessed some unreal scenes.
However, one incident stood out when a couple abruptly left the show after learning the value of their item and even 'dumped it' straight away, reports the Mirror.
Fiona recently appeared on ITV's Celebrity Catchphrase, hosted by Stephen Mulhern, where she was asked about her experiences on Antiques Roadshow.
Stephen said: "We know you as a presenter, as very serious news reader. We know you from Antiques Roadshow as well, of course. Have you ever seen anybody really cheesed off when they bring their item in and they get told it's worth absolutely nothing? ".
Fiona, with a chuckle, said: "Everyone tells me they love that bit. And yes, I mean, many times."
She then shared a funny story: "Some people came along once, a couple and they had an enormous painting. They lugged it along and it took them ages. Eventually the specialist saw it and said £30 maybe, and they were so cross."
Fiona continued: "They dumped it against a hedge and stormed off."
In other news, the BBC announced in February that filming for the much-loved Antiques Roadshow will start again soon.
