Aldi, Asda and Sainsbury's shoppers warned not to eat food items due to safety fears

Asda, Aldi and Sainsbury's have all had to take some food items off their shelves, with bosses telling customers not to eat them in case they pose a health risk.
The Food Standards Agency has told people that some products in these supermarkets may not be safe to eat. If you have purchased any of these things, you should take them back to the shop and receive a full refund.
Here are the details of several food recalls that have taken place recently, as reported by Liverpool Echo.
Signature Flatbreads UK is taking its Village Bakery tortilla wraps out of Aldi because there may be metal in them. The Food Standards Agency believes they may have been tampered with.
If you have these wraps, don't eat them. You can take them back to Aldi and they will give you your money back. If you want to ask Aldi anything, you can call them for free on 0800 042 0800 or go to help. aldi.co.uk.
The wraps that are being taken back are called Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White. They come in a pack with 8 wraps that weigh 62g each.
All the packs with a 'best before' date up to and including April 29, 2024, are being recalled.
The Food Standards Agency website says: "Signature Flatbreads UK is taking the precautionary step of recalling Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White because of a possible presence of metal, as the product may have been tampered with. The possible presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat.
"This is an isolated incident and is not linked to other product recall information notices, (PRINs) recently published for metal contamination. No other Aldi or Signature Flatbreads UK products are affected."
