Manchester United ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka believes his battle for the right-back spot with Diogo Dalot is a positive for both themselves and the club.

Wan-Bissaka's performance against Wolves was a rare positive on a night of frustrations for United, despite getting the season off to a winning start, meaning he is poised to retain his place at Tottenham Hotspur this tea-time. And with Dalot waiting in the wings, the England man admits he cannot take his foot off the gas.

"I think it is good for the both of us," Wan-Bissaka told United's club website, of his rivalry with Dalot. "It is healthy, it pushes us to fight and give more and also that helps the team out as well.
"It helps a player not to take the foot off the pedal. You know that someone always wants your spot so you have got to give it your all."
