The Walking Dead game allowing players to change the timeline of the hit AMC show has gone viral over the weekend but for all the wrong reasons.Released over the weekend, The Walking Dead: Destinies has been developed by Flux Games and published by GameMill Entertainment. “Change the course of AMC’s The Walking Dead history,” reads the game’s description.

Psyonix has announced player-to-player trading in Rocket League will be removed in December so that it aligns with Epic Games‘ terms for in-game items.“We’re making this change to align with Epic’s overall approach to game cosmetics and item shop policies, where items aren’t tradable, transferrable, or sellable,” explained Psyonix in a post to the game’s official website.It said that the move “opens up future plans” for a selection of Rocket League vehicles to cross over into other offerings from Epic Games, though it was not stated which games these would be.Rocket League and Fortnite crossed over for the first time in 2020 following Psyonix’s buyout by Epic Games in the previous year.This was followed by the High Octane event in 2022, which brought the game’s iconic Octane battlecar to Fortnite and let players pull off stunts to travel across the map and escape from skirmishes.It also allowed Rocket League and Rocket League Sideswipe players to earn the Whiplash car in those games through the completion of High Octane quests on the Rocket League Live Island in Fortnite.Player-to-player trading in the game will end at midnight GMT on December 6.

Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal is on its way to Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations for developer IO Interactive.“Reprisal is a comprehensive reworking of the stealth-action classic, refined for screens large and small – with a new Minimap, Instinct Mode, and gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series,” said Feral Interactive. Dying Light 2 developer Techland addressed the “frustration” over the game’s DL Points, a form of currency that would override the normal way of unlocking premium content.Introduced in August, Dying Light 2‘s DL Points are comparable to Fortnite‘s V Bucks. Rather than purchasing a set of cosmetic content for a specific price, the set would cost a certain number of DL Points.

Team Reptile announced that its indie action-adventure platformer Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles in September.Following the PC and Switch launch – scheduled for August 18 – Bomb Rush Cyberfunk will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on September 1. Mojang and Wizards Of The Coast have announced the launch of Dungeons & Dragons downloadable content (DLC) for Minecraft, which will introduce a “story-driven” campaign and five classes to choose from.The Dungeons & Dragons DLC is set to launch on the Minecraft Marketplace in spring 2023, and will include a number of enemies, locations and features from Wizards Of The Coast’s 1974 game.In the DLC, players will choose from five Dungeons & Dragons classes – including Barbarian and Wizard – and explore five Forgotten Realms from the D&D universe.

Cyanide Studio has released a statement addressing various issues players have had with the recently released Blood Bowl 3.Blood Bowl 3 was released last week and quickly racked up a “ mostly negative” review rating on Steam. Blood Bowl 3 was finally released yesterday (February 23) but already has a “mostly negative” rating on Steam.Developed by Cyanide Studio, the sequel to 2015’s Blood Bowl 2 sees “the iconic death sport return with the new video game of fantasy football faithfully using the latest board game rules.” Players are tasked with creating their team “then crush, mulch and cheat your way to the top… leaving your opponents in the graveyard.”An Early Access launch for Blood Bowl 3 was delayed in 2021 with the turn-based combat game’s full release then pushed back from February 2022 to 2023.“The pandemic has impacted production times, and these new dates will allow our development teams to give their fans polished games without compromising on our quality targets,” said Nacon’s head of publishing Benoît Clerc at the time.But over a year later than planned, it seems Blood Bowl 3 may not be worth the wait. Just 26 per cent of the 460 reviews on Steam are positive with fans unhappy about skills not being implemented and the fact the only difference between the released game and the Early Access version is more teams.“All of the development effort has gone into the microtransactions store for cosmetics,” wrote one review.

Re-Logic has announced that Terraria quality assurance developer Jason “Leinfors” Parker has passed away, aged 36.The studio confirmed the news in a statement to the Terraria community.
