She was remanded in custody and is expected to reappear within the next eight days.
Conor Thomas, of no fixed abode, previously appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on October 4 where he made no plea to a charge of murder and was remanded in custody.
A second suspect, 47-year-old Amanda Welsh, was charged with attempted murder.
Court papers state that she allegedly struck Joseph on the head and body repeatedly with a knife while acting with another person.
The charge says this was done to his severe injury, permanent disfigurement, impairment and to the danger of his life as well as attempted murder.
