Manchester United defender Will Fish could feature in Erik ten Hag's side in the pre-season friendly against Wrexham on Wednesday.
The centre-back, who spent last season out on loan with Scottish Premiership side Hibernian last term, has the chance to gain invaluable experience in the fixture and could line-up alongside Jonny Evans in the heart of defence. Fish is set to rejoin Hibernian for the upcoming campaign, but manager Erik ten Hag has taken the opportunity to look over the Academy graduate during the club's pre-season games so far.
He looked comfortable alongside Evans in the second half of the opening pre-season win over Leeds and provided a calming presence at the back when he came on as a second-half substitute against Lyon. He started 17 consecutive gamesfor Hibernian before his deal expired last season, with the club happy about the progress he made during his time in Scotland.
