Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Whitney Cummings is taking her next stand-up special — which she performed while seven months pregnant — to OFTV, the free streaming service operated by OnlyFans, the porn-friendly creator platform. Cummings’ “Mouthy” will be released as an OFTV original, premiering exclusively on the platform on Nov. 15, 2023.
Recorded in front of a sold-out live audience at L.A.’s Comedy Store in September, the show is Cummings’ sixth career special and the first stand-up comedy special for OFTV, OnlyFans’ free-to-view, safe-for-work streaming platform and app (i.e., there’s no nudity). OnlyFans previously funded OFTV original comedy series “Whitney Cummings Presents,” which she created and executive produced. Since premiering in April 2023, the series has aired roasts of Bert Kreischer and Cummings herself, with a lineup of comedians and celebrity guests including Tom Segura, Dan Levy, Ke$ha, Bob the Drag Queen, Trevor Wallace, Miranda Cosgrove and Robin Tran.
According to the company, the premiere episode roasting Kreischer is the most-watched episode of OFTV original content to date. OnlyFans, which reported $5.6 billion in gross revenue for 2022, doesn’t make any money on OFTV. The content on the service is free to access and does not include any ads; it’s purely a promotional outlet for creators to drive users to their OnlyFans pages (and because it excludes porn, the app is allowed on Apple and Google’s app stores).
