A man has been airlifted to hospital after a glider crashed into a hillside in Perth and Kinross on Tuesday.

Two people were rushed to hospital after an alleged stabbing in flood-hit Brechin onSaturday afternoon. Emergency services were called to the Wards Road area of the town, which was ravaged by extreme flooding during Storm Babet, around 4.35pm on Saturday.
Two men, aged 24 and 27, were rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not known.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged serious assault and will appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Monday. Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.35pm on Saturday, 21 October, 2023, officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the area of Wards Road, Brechin.
"Emergency services attended and a 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
