Both men, aged 45 and 34, suffered stab wounds. Thankfully, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, GMP says.

Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information or video footage that could assist police with their investigation is being urged to come forward.
Superintendent Mike Walsh, from GMP's Bury district, said: "It is very fortunate that the injuries sustained in this incident were not more serious, and I am glad that someone is now in custody in connection with the investigation. However, these sort of incidents cause natural concern - and I want the wider Bury community to know that we will never tolerate such actions within our area.
"While we have already made an arrest, work is still ongoing to understand the full circumstances and we are determined to secure the right result. Violence has no place on our streets and I would urge anyone with information that will help enquiries to make a report to police."
Information can be passed on to GMP by calling 0161 856 8163 or 101, quoting log 119 of May 5, 2024. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
