A teacher faces jail after being found guilty of sexual offences against two of her pupils. Rebecca Joynes, 30, groomed one boy with a shopping trip to the Trafford Centre before taking him back to her apartment and having sex with him when he was 15. Her lawyer said Joynes had ‘let herself and her family down’, but she denied all the offences. But a jury found her guilty on all charges in unanimous verdicts they returned today (17 May).
