TV news anchor Narelda Jacobs broke down as she announced her colleague's alleged murder live on air. Holding back tears, Narelda Jacobs read out that police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon was charged with murdering missing TV presenter Jesse Baird, 26 and his boyfriend Luke Davies, 29.
The police officer in question is alleged to have killed Jesse, who was his ex-boyfriend, and Jesse's current partner Luke at Jesse's home in Sydney on Monday (February 19).
The pair had been missing for a few days and police had said they were severely concerned as they discovered a few of their possessions covered in blood in a skip.
The bodies are yet to be found and police have not confirmed a cause of death. Friends and colleagues of Jesse who worked at Channel Ten paid tribute to him as police confirmed for the first time that they were now investigating his murder.
Visibly devastated, Narelda clearly struggled to make it through the segment as she stumbled over her words a few times and was even forced to take deep breaths in a bid to carry on with the broadcast. In conclusion of her report she said: "They are both much-loved men with a wide circle of loved ones, family and friends who adore them.

She said: "Our thoughts are with their loved ones, their colleagues, their friends, and their families at this very traumatic time."
