TV's Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan's 'comforting words' to daughter Chloe after James split

Chloe Madeley counts herself lucky that she has such supportive parents as she deals with her separation from husband James Haskell. Married Chloe and James announced their split in October, after speculation was raised when James was seen on a night out with another woman and Chloe was spotted without her wedding ring.
The couple then released a statement confirming their break-up where they also vowed to co-parent their one year old daughter Bodhi. And in a new exclusive OK! shoot Chloe revealed she has received huge support from her friends and family and particularly her parents Richard and Judi.
Chloe, 36, told us: “The day that the statement came out, James had Bodhi and I went round to my parents’ house and I just sat and cried all day.
They just gave me massive hugs and didn’t leave my side." She added that presenter Richard, 67, and Judy, 75, have been “incredible” about the break-up. “My mum and dad’s title line is, ‘As long as you’re happy, we support you.’ So they’re fine,” she said. “Everyone is very adult about it.
No one has any interest in any family drama. I’m so grateful to have parents like that.
They’re so kind, warm, generous, funny and intelligent. I really hit the jackpot.” The fitness star spoke about her split from James in her first in-depth interview since their announcement.
She was also keen to detail why their decision can be a positive thing rather than a negative. “Since James and I made the decision to draw a line under it, I’ve felt really free, happy and calm,” she said. “It’s interesting.
