It’s 50th anniversary week on the CBS soap opera series The Young and the Restless and a big announcement was made this morning!

Find footage below.The concert took place at Manchester’s Albert Hall yesterday (March 29), and marked exactly 30 years since the legendary Brit-pop band released their self-titled debut album.To celebrate the anniversary, the five-piece surprised fans with a special setlist – containing numerous tracks from the LP. These included ‘She’s Not Dead’, ‘Breakdown’ and ‘Metal Mickey’.

To coincide with the announcement, Rose has released the video for ‘Faithful’, which was directed by Ben Howley.The New York-based musician worked on the new album over a two-week period in late 2020 with Yves Rothman, who has also recently produced records for Blondshell and Bartees Strange.Rose’s breakout single ‘Muddled Man’ arrived in October 2022, swiftly followed by ‘Angel’ the following month. Both tracks, alongside ‘Faithful’, will appear on ‘Eye Of Glass’.

Animal Collective have announced the reissue of their debut album, ‘Spirit They’re Gone, Spirit They’ve Vanished’ – featuring brand-new artwork and a host of previously unreleased tracks.Announced today (March 13), the reissue will arrive on May 12 and features remastered versions of the 10 original tracks. In addition, the band are also set to release a new EP alongside the album – containing five previously-unreleased songs.Originally released in 2000, ‘Spirit They’re Gone, Spirit They’ve Vanished’ was initially a collaborative project between bandmates Avey Tare and Panda Bear.

filmmaker Jarmusch and Carter Logan, announced their debut LP ‘Silver Haze’ with the release of their new single’s video. A former Guild of Music Supervisors president, and three-time GMS Award winner, most notably for “Breaking Bad,” Golubic brings his more than 20 years of music supervision experience to “Poker Face.” The first season put Golubić’s cross-section of skills to the test with hurdles like difficult clearances to on-camera musical performances and creation of original songs. Golubić met these challenges head-on with support from his team at SuperMusicVision, which includes Olivia Schlichting and clearance services by Jill Meyers Music.

The Southbank Centre in London has announced a celebration of the 50th anniversary of David Bowie’s ‘Aladdin Sane’ album, with talks, performances and a two month exhibition exploring the record’s iconic artwork.“We’re honoured to pay tribute to David Bowie, who made his Southbank Centre debut in 1969”, says the venue’s Artistic Director Mark Ball. “The ‘Aladdin Sane’ album cover portrait is considered to be one of the most influential pop culture images of the past half century, and the music remains fresh and contemporary, so we wanted to recognise this major anniversary and reflect on the album and its artwork’s enduring legacy”.“It’s a work that continues to inspire today’s contemporary artists and the gender fluidity of the images still resonate deeply in queer culture in the UK and across the world”, he adds.The artwork exhibition will run from 6 Apr to 28 May, and has been curated by Chris Duffy, son of the photographer who took the distinctive lightning flash portrait, Brian Duffy.
