Martin Lewis' This Morning debut went down a treat with fans, who branded him a "delight" and a "pleasure".
The financial journalist hosted the ITV show for the first time on Monday, 4 March, alongside fellow guest presenter Josie Gibson. Martin, 51, admitted the role was a "one off" but it was something he'd "always wanted to do".
The star - best known for founding MoneySavingExpert.com and hosting The Martin Lewis Money Show - also told how he'd first appeared on This Morning 21 years ago as a guest. Opening the show with Josie, 39, on Monday, Martin joked: "Thank you very much for having me on the show today, this isn't an audition!" He added: "I've got a day job, I've just always wanted to do this.
So, to the producers thanks for having me. Everybody watching, I hope you enjoy today and if you don't, don't worry because it's a one off!" However, Martin proved to be a huge hit with This Morning viewers. Many took to social media to praise the money-saving expert, saying it's a "pleasure" to watch him on the daytime show.
