This Morning's Craig Doyle revealed his devastation on Monday's show as his bike was stolen. The 52 year old presenter was on the sofa alongside his co-host Josie Gibson, 38, as he made the revelation, and he was none too happy about it. He said: "My bike was nicked," as Josie said: "I'm so sorry".
Craig continued: "A race bike... very tiny saddle," as he turned to look in the camera and said: "I hope it hurts, whoever stole it." He then told Josie that the bike is "worth a lot" before he went on to talk about the "memories" he has with his bicycle. Turning back to the camera, Craig said: "If there's someone walking around and not able to walk very well, it's because the saddle is tiny and it hurts." Craig has proved to be a massive hit with This Morning viewers, as he has started fronting the show more often since the departure of Phillip Schofield.
He made his This Morning debut in May 2022 alongside Alison Hammond, having previously had bit-parts on the show. After he presented alongside longtime host Holly Willoughby in June, fans took to Twitter to beg for Craig to become a permanent host. One tweet read: "Can we have Craig Doyle permanently as Phil's replacement? He and Holly just work so well together".
Another said: "There's such a warmth and calmness about Craig Doyle, Holly seems more relaxed with him too. Would not complain if he were to be permanent #ThisMorning". Holly has gone on an extended break for the summer, followed by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, which leaves presenting duties to Josie and Craig. The latter confirmed that he would be fronting the show with an Instagram post on Wednesday, 26, July, as he shared a snap of himself and Josie, and wrote the caption: "Right then Gibbo, see you
